Our Local Heroes programme has been created specifically for businesses that want to make an impact for their community.
As a Local Hero, your contribution will be formally recognised, and you'll be provided with tools and resources that you can use within your business to show your support.
Local Heroes can be your contribution; not only to those around you but to your wider community.
How it Works
How does it work?
Local Hero businesses, you can choose... first choose your level of contribution.... once a year one off payment... in return, you'll get... allocate a workplace ambassador... All it takes to be involved are payments starting from $1,000 (+GST) per annum.

Workplace Cancer Ambassadors
Recruit an employee to become a Workplace Cancer Ambassador to work alongside the Cancer Society to help reduce the incidence and impact of cancer.
We will provide easy workplace fundraising campaigns, and the Ambassador can select one or more of our quarterly campaigns to roll out in your workplace. We have many vital services that need funding to ensure they can keep being delivered across the Southern region.
